How To Prepare, Our Policy and Aftercare

HOW IS THE SHAPE/COLOR DECIDED?

In most cases we can discuss this at your first appointment. If you would feel more comfortable you may send me a photo of your brows prior to the appointment and we may discuss your questions/concerns. You may show us a photo of how you fill them in that way we can see what you like, but also assess what needs work and what does not need work along with your skin’s undertone. We will draw a shape onto your brows and we will choose the color together before the procedure starts. I like the brow to be as grown in as possible so do not worry about having them shaped or cleaned before your appointment.

Who is the ideal candidate for permanent makeup?

Permanent makeup is perfect for busy women (and yes, men!) who are looking to save time and want their look to stay perfect around the clock. People who have Alopecia, light, half eyebrows or eyebrows with bald spots love our microblading brow service. People with eyes sensitive to makeup or sparse lashes love permanent eyeliner, and those who want fuller-looking, more defined lips love lip tinting.

Permanent makeup is also a great solution for those with oily skin that shed makeup easily, athletes, swimmers, and beach goers who want to sweat and get wet without their makeup running, and anyone wanting to boost their confidence!

WHAT IS MICROBLADING?

Microblading is a form of semi-permanent makeup also known as eyebrow embroidery, micro stroking, feather touch or micro-pigmentation. Unlike traditional cosmetic tattooing which is performed using a machine, microblading is done with a manual, handheld tool with attached needles that are fused together in a linear grouping. These very fine needles deposit pigment into the epidermis, replicating hair by following the natural growth of your hair, giving you a flawless, fuller brow.

what is the difference between. micro blade and a powder Brow?

Microblading is soft and very natural once healed. For some that is perfect, but some clients want a bit more. If you want a bolder look, oily or problimatic skin, a powder brow may be for you! These things call be discussed at your appointment!

WHAT IS A  fusion BROW?

A fusion brow is either a combination of microblading and manual shading or microblading with the machine added.

How long will permanent makeup last?

Permanent makeup is long-lasting and will slowly fade over the course of 1-3 years. As you become accustomed to your makeup, it’s not uncommon to want more. To keep your makeup looking fresh, we recommend having it retouched every 1-2 years. Darker colors, such as black eyeliner, will last the longest. Natural, delicate colors are more vulnerable to the effects of sun, swimming and your skin’s natural emollients.

What’s the recovery time?

There’s no downtime; you can go back to work right after your eyebrow, eyeliner, or lip procedure. It’s normal to have some swelling on the lip and eye, and/or some minor scabbing on the eyebrows. Your custom color will initially look 20-30% bolder than what the final result will be after about a week when it settles in. It will take about six days for the skin to completely heal. Our clients generally say they walk out ready to take on the rest of their day with no discomfort. Get more details on eyebrow, eyeliner, and lip tinting aftercare instructions.

HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Appointments can be made through the online booking system on this website. When booking is live, you will see a booking calendar under the booking section. A non-refundable and non-transferable booking fee is required to make the appointment. For the deposit, you may pay with any major credit card. The day of the procedure the remaining balance may be paid by cash or credit card.

WHY DO I NEED TWO APPOINTMENTS?

When you leave your appointment, your brows will look very bold and MUCH darker than they will end up. Throughout the week the color will fade drastically. Some customers may like that, while others prefer a more bold, structured look. It may appear at times that the pigment vanished-be patient. You may heal "spotty" the first time. In the second appointment, we assess the color, re-evaluate how your skin is reacting to the pigment and make any changes necessary. Additional touch up appointments may be necessary for customers with very oily skin, problematic skin, darker pigmentation or customers that did not follow after care procedures correctly (see "after care"). Microblading requires a minimum of two appointments.

Can I wear makeup after the procedure?

It’s essential to keep the procedure area clean and free of bacteria, therefore, you cannot put other types of makeup on top of your permanent makeup for one week after the procedure. However, on areas where permanent makeup was not applied, you can wear what you normally do.
