Andrea Cerini-Fawthrop is a licensed esthetician, professional makeup artist, and permanent makeup practitioner with extensive hands-on experience in cosmetic tattooing, client safety, and real-world studio operations. She is a recognized Platinum Trainer with the American Academy of Micropigmentation (AAM) and the founder of PMU Academy, where she educates and mentors aspiring artists through structured, standards-based training programs.

As a Platinum Trainer, Andrea upholds nationally recognized standards in permanent cosmetics education and integrates advanced certification-level expectations into her curriculum. Her programs are built around compliance, technical precision, infection control, bloodborne pathogen awareness, informed consent, and ethical treatment planning — preparing students not just to perform procedures, but to operate responsibly and professionally within the industry.
