Clinical Training & Home Study Policy
(100-Hour Fundamentals Program)
Program Structure
Browhaus Academy’s 100-Hour Fundamentals Program is divided into:

35 Hours Homebound Learning
-
65 Hours Supervised Clinical Training
This structure follows professional micropigmentation education standards and is designed to align with national certification frameworks, including AAM educational expectations.
Students may not perform independent procedures until foundational theory requirements are successfully completed.
Curriculum and Policy
35-Hour Homebound Learning (Phase 1)
Home study must be completed prior to participating in hands-on clinical procedures.

Students are required to:

Submit drawing practice assignments

Sign an attestation confirming completion
Advancement to clinical training is competency-based, not automatic.
65-Hour Supervised Clinical Training (Phase 2)
All procedures are performed:

In a licensed facility

Under direct instructor supervision
-
Following state Board of Health standards
-
Using proper infection control protocol
During live model sessions, students will be evaluated on:

Proper station setup & barrier control

PPE compliance

Client intake & medical review

Skin analysis

Mapping & pre-draw design

Color selection & reasoning

Needle and cartridge selection

Machine setup & voltage control

Stretch technique (3-point stretch)

Pigment implantation control

Aftercare instructions

Proper breakdown & sanitation
The instructor may limit or modify a student’s participation at any time for safety or quality control.
Model Policy
All models must:

Complete informed consent forms

Acknowledge that procedures are performed by a student

Understand instructor intervention may occur

Understand results may require a follow-up session
Safety and skin integrity are always prioritized over student completion.

All documentation is maintained in accordance with professional standards and Board of Health expectations.
Tuition, Payments & Refund Policy

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure enrollment.

Full payment or an approved payment plan must be in place before clinical participation.

Access to home study materials constitutes the start of the program.
Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued once course materials have been accessed.

No refunds for missed clinical days.
-
No refunds based on dissatisfaction with outcomes.

Tuition is non-transferable.

Withdrawal from the program does not relieve financial responsibility.

Re-entry after withdrawal is not guaranteed.

If a student is dismissed for unsafe behavior or policy violations, tuition remains non-refundable and access to materials will be revoked.
