Permanent Makeup Training Curriculum at Browhaus Academy:

Days 1–2:

Online Interactive Learning:

Begin your permanent makeup journey from the comfort of your own home. During these two days of live, online instruction, our expert, board-certified instructors will guide you through the fundamentals of PMU, safety protocols, and essential techniques. Before class, you’ll receive your professional kit, including the  Mast Cordless PMU Pen & Power Supply, training manual, and all course materials to follow along in real time.

Day 3:

In-Person Orientation at Browhaus Academy

Join us in person for Orientation Day at Browhaus Academy. This hands-on day is all about building your confidence and technical skills. You’ll set up your machine, practice core techniques, review needle configurations, and dive deep into PMU color theory. It’s also your chance to ask questions, receive individual feedback, and connect with your instructors before working on live models

Days 4–6:

Live Model Training Over the next three days, you’ll work hands-on with live models under close guidance from our instructors. You’ll perform six full procedures:

2 Brows

2 Eyeliners

2 LipsModels

All supplies are provided.

 

We maintain a 2:1 student-to-instructor ratio to ensure a focused and supportive training environment.

 

You’ll learn eight essential PMU techniques, including:

Traditional Brows

Powder/Ombre

BrowsHairstrokes

Traditional Eyeliner and Lash Enhancement

Lip Liner,  Shading & Lip Blushing.

 

You’ll also gain experience in:

client consultations, reviewing intake forms, needle selection, sanitation protocols, and cross-contamination prevention—everything you need to confidently begin your career in permanent makeup.

 

Apprenticeship Program (Required for NJ Students)

Separate Fee: Students who wish to become licensed in New Jersey must complete:

An additional 9 supervised apprenticeship procedures:

(3 brows, 3 lips, 3 eyeliners) After the core program

.Cost: $400 per procedure 

Supervision with an AAM-certified instructor supplies included

 

PMU Forms Provided: Intake, Pre-Care, Aftercare, Consent Before & After Photos for AAM, state licensing, and your portfolio. Detailed Instructor Evaluation with personalized technique feedback
